Indonesia Smart City Smart Building Week 2016 - the premier dedicated biennial
trade fair for ICT technology . Implementation in the overall urban activity,
intelligent transport, and smart building system & automation. Indonesia is
the Southeast’s biggest and most attractive market and considered one of the
next economic giants. Economic projections estimate the country will leap ahead
of Germany and the UK to become the world’s 7th largest economy by 2030. As
Indonesia’s population continues to grow, more citizens will move to cities.
Currently nearly half of 240 million Indonesian
citizens live in the cities and its surrounding area, and by 2025 the government estimates this number will increase to 68%. Similarly it is expected that the number of skyscrapers in Jakarta to double in the coming years as developers tap into the booming demand for property. And within the next 5 – 10 years, Jakarta is projected to be among the top of 20 ASIA City. To accommodate this massive urbanization, rapid buildings construction, and increasing infrastructure development, Indonesia needs to find smarter ways to manage complexities, reduce expenses, increase efficiency and improve the quality of life in the cities.
